Oh, the things that Non-Goths say

"Don't you wear anything but black?"

Umm, I have green in my outfit right now.

People don't pay attention to details, and yes, the print on my shirt does count as a color.

And if you ask me where my spaceship is, don't be offended when I don't want to talk to you.

On a slightly related note, here's a song:

  1. Oh, it is so drastic for Goths, and non Gothic followers/lovers to live in small-minded towns. Usually. when I encounter anyone that is a sheep...I run a mile from these zombiesheep. Goths have good taste in clothing and colours. Better than any zombiesheep, that waste so much time in undermining Goths and non Gothic lovers/followers. I often feel as if I was born in the wrong places. I want communities full of Goths/bikers/punks/satanists/mods etc. It's time for all the zombiesheep to move into the farmyards/towns. And let the rest of us get on with being alternative, as Nature intended us to be.

    1. I have a lot of friends who are not Goth or any sort of alternative, and I've learned that not everyone of that mold is a sheep. It's not meant for everyone to be alternative, because it takes a certain degree of strength and bravery. I agree that 'people' are mostly dumb sheep, but individuals can be intelligent and open-minded, no matter how they choose to dress.

I get that question all the time; and, I live in a pretty open-minded town.

Also, I have to agree with Cherry Divine: Goths do have good taste in clothing. Just sayin'.

    1. I frequently say I was born in the wrong time period, just for how people treat each other in our time. I don't understand being openly rude to someone in order to make yourself appear superior when in fact you're just making yourself look like an ass.

  3. I have to agree with you about the overall rudeness that's prevalent today. In my case though, it hasn't been about rudeness. Some acquaintances just like to tease me playfully. I live in a pretty open-minded town. It could be worse.

  4. I don't believe everyone that asks this question is intentionally being rude. In a society of lemmings, we just happen to do our own thing, and I believe these people honestly just can't fathom *anyone* doing something different.
