Yay Halloween Goth! I would like to think it was this awesome blog and this post over here that inspired this amazing confession, but then my ego implodes and I realize I'm not that important. Love it anyway, someone thinks like me!!

DeleteHmm...aren't we all sort of Halloween Goths? I haven't heard of a Goth who doesn't love that day--er, night.
ReplyDeleteI've actually seen some things on line from Goths who are kind of against the holiday, or at least the immediate association between it and the subculture. I think it is because they feel it is too cliched, or that those "Goth" labeled Halloween costumes that come up every year aren't doing the subculture any favors. Some people I've seen on blogger, like Victorian Kitty at Sophitique Noir don't incorporate spooky or Halloween themed imagery into their look, such as skulls and bats. So, yeah, it is a more debated topic than you would think.
